On Jan. 1 2012, the erection of an official Ordinariate in North America for Catholics from Anglican backgrounds will take place and in will come many of our separated brethren, thanks in no short order to Anglicanorum Coetibus. I am blessed to have assisted Fr. Ernie with the Anglican Use in Kansas City - I keep the St. Therese community in my prayers as I am sure they are continuing...

Since moving to the Chicago area in August - and roughly - right after that time returning to the faith, we have been searching for a place to call our home “parish”. I put parish in quotes as the church has deemed based on geographical location as to where we should attend Mass and receive the sacraments.
